Jisoo’s Most Stylish Dior Looks In Honour Of Her Role As House Ambassador

by - November 29, 2023

Over the last few years, Blackpink’s Jisoo has become devoted to Dior, wearing Maria Grazia Chiuri’s designs on repeat and keeping a CD-covered It-bag constantly on her arm. So it’s no surprise to the Blinks – Blackpink’s ever-adoring fanbase – that Christian Dior named Jisoo as its latest global ambassador for both fashion and beauty on 6 March.

“Jisoo embodies, with her singular audacity, the house’s modernity and the passionate creativity of Maria Grazia Chiuri, who was inspired by the Korean singer for her autumn/winter 2021 collection,” Dior confirmed to Miss Vogue.

Jisoo will also bring creative director of Christian Dior make-up Peter Philips’s vision to life in upcoming beauty campaigns. In honour of Jisoo’s appointment, Miss Vogue revisits some of the Blackpink star’s most notable Dior looks through the years,

Though the idol wasn’t able to attend the resort 2022 Dior show, which was staged in Greece, Jisoo ensured that she “showed up” virtually in a sweet white ensemble complete with a classic Dior handbag and funky lace-up boots.

The house released an atmospheric portrait of Jisoo wearing top-to-toe Dior in honour of her appointment.

Jisoo was gifted an embroidered floor-length gown by Dior for her 26th birthday. On Instagram, she thanked creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri for the gift and admitted that she will “cherish it forever”.

Jisoo was the first Blackpink member to wear Crocs, which she stylishly paired with her monogram Bobby bag and slick turn-up jeans.

Another Dior look shared by Jisoo that day saw her slip into a sweet LBD, which she paired with monogram trainers and a mini tie-dye version of the Lady Dior bag.

This proved to be one of the Blinks’ favourite Dior moments from Jisoo – the photograph has now received more than four million likes on Instagram.

A Miss Vogue favourite: Jisoo reworked a classic Dior scarf into a Y2K-esque strapless top.
